Erina Libertad

Erina Libertad (b. 1986) moves between performance, dance, installation, choreography, research, and visual arts. She is a costume designer for performing arts, film, and her independent project TAXI. She facilitates movement dynamics that use play as a tool for people to reconnect with creativity, the body, and its possibilities.

Her work is an invitation to rediscover play, embracing its full creative potential, while also acting as a rebellious gesture against a system that thrives on our disconnection, lack of creativity, laughter, and pleasure. The goal is to unlock the doors to the dimension of play and see where it takes us.

Currently, she is part of the team at Cero Uno, an artist-run space located in San José, Costa Rica.
